Someone outright told me that, 'I don't think anybody notices the ocean behind you' and I was immediately taken aback because it was the first thing I made sure I got ready - A long video of the waves crashing. With time, Id realized that there is something about the ocean taking us in and spitting us out, undone but only more brave. The art of conversing is under rated. It is easier to have one if you can find some common ground and I feel the common ground is all the multitudes of emotions that came and never left that room. As one person enters, through me, they would get to meet all the others who dropped by. I wrote poems with some, cried with some, sang songs with some and stared at the waves with some. It’s my own 'Vegas' and it came out exactly the way I wanted. What happens in 'Safe Haven,' stays in 'Safe Haven.'
