As I board my next train to Trivandrum, I cannot help but remember the few who trusted me with their stories. It isn't easy opening up to someone. It isn't just about how comfortable they make it for you, but it also has a lot to do with where you are in your life. It requires embracing yourself wherever you are, wounded or not, driven or not, loved or not. Just allowing yourself a chance knowing that you may never escape judgement. I found a few other souls who laughed with me, cried with me, took walks and shared meals, and I will remain grateful for the ones who came back to where I sat just to ensure that I was doing okay. Here is the next best thing I took from my trip to Dhwani CET : Kindness.
